Welcome to Soundbase Studios, the rehearsal and recording facility on the edge of Wellington in Somerset. Situated in part of an historic woollen mill, it is a fantastic setting with wonderful views of classic industrial architecture. Easy access from Taunton, Tiverton, Exeter and anywhere close to the M5. We have three soundproofed rooms available for band rehearsal, one larger (green) and two smaller (red and blue), with basic backline available for a small fee. Soundbase is the perfect place to develop your talent and hone your performance. Open all weekday evenings and other times by request There is a multitrack recording suite in house- Using the perfect combination of analogue and digital technology, we can record a band of (almost) any size, mix, master and burn cds. We also have a mobile recording facility, so we can bring the studio to you, if you have particular requirements for instruments or acoustics. The full power of studio recording can be brought to you- all we need is a power supply. See the Recording page for more details. There is a relaxing chill-out area to chill out and relax in. Drinks and munchies are always available. Comfy sofa and random instruments to noodle on. Another good place to work on ideas, chat and network. |
